Curated & Co.’s Frequently Asked Questions

Sizing & Fit

Do you have a size guide? I never know what size to order.

Yes — and you should use it, because shoe sizing is one of the last places where the internet still lies to you. Curated & Co. runs two separate systems, not a shared conversion chart: Blake-constructed and unlined models are sized in EU (men’s EU 39–45, women’s EU 35–40), while our Goodyear-welted models run in UK sizing (UK 4–11). Converting between the two by formula alone will get you close and occasionally wrong, which is a bad way to meet a new pair of shoes. Measure your foot length in centimetres, message or call us the measure, and we’ll match it to the correct last — no guessing required.

Note: this chart is a general UK/EU/CM conversion reference. It doesn’t replace the construction-specific guidance above (EU sizing for Blake-constructed/unlined models, UK sizing for Goodyear-welted models) — customers should still confirm with a specialist using foot length in cm.

I have wide feet. Which last actually works for me?

Not every last is cut the same, and pretending otherwise is how return boxes get filled. Carmina and Berwick 1707’s Goodyear-welted lasts run generously through the toe box; Paraboot’s rubber-soled construction tends to sit roomier still. Tell us your foot width in centimetres alongside length and we’ll point you to the last that won’t spend its first month arguing with your foot.

The shoe feels tight out of the box — will it stretch?

A little, and that’s by design, not a flaw. Full-grain calf leather relaxes and molds to the foot over the first few wears, particularly across a Goodyear-welted upper. What it won’t do is fix a size that’s genuinely wrong. If it’s snug at the toe on day one, come in and we’ll check whether that’s break-in or a half-size problem — those are two very different conversations.

Can I try shoes on before I commit, or return them if they don’t fit at home?

Trying in-store is not just welcome, it’s the whole point of a boutique that still believes in fitting people properly. Walk in, and we’ll measure, fit, and let you walk the floor before any money changes hands. For online orders, the same size-exchange window applies as any purchase: you have 7 calendar days from your delivery date to request a different size, provided the item is unworn, unaltered, and returned in its original condition with tags, dust bags, shoe box, and accessories intact. Note this is an exchange, not a refund — see the next section.

Size, Defect Exchanges

If the size is wrong, can I exchange it — and how long do I have?

Yes. You have 7 calendar days from the delivery date shown in your tracking record to request a size exchange for a different size of the same style, provided the item is unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition — tags, dust bags, shoe box, and accessories all intact — with your order number as proof of purchase. For a manufacturing defect or a wrong item shipped, the window is longer: 30 calendar days from delivery.

Do you offer refunds, or exchange only?

Exchange only. Outside the two categories above (size, or defect/wrong item), all purchases are final and non-refundable — this reflects the limited-run, imported-to-order nature of the footwear we carry. This doesn’t affect any right you hold under Thai law that can’t be excluded by agreement. If your requested size or a replacement isn’t immediately in stock, we place your exchange on a waitlist against our next shipment rather than defaulting to a refund — you keep your place until the agreed pair arrives.

Repair, Resole & Shoe Care Services

Do you offer a shoe “spa” — cleaning, polishing, resoling?

We do, and have since 2018, which makes it one of the least glamorous but most reliably useful things we do all week. Drop your pair off, and expect within-3-day turnaround for a full spa treatment. It is, quietly, the best-value thing on this page.

How much does a resole cost, and how long does it take?

Prices and turnaround by service, below. Shining and add-on repairs run 2–3 business days (excluding weekends); resoling takes a minimum of 7 days, varying with parts/supplies on hand. For anything not listed, speak to one of our Shoe Specialists.

Can I drop shoes off at any branch, and do I need an appointment?

No appointment needed — walk-ins are always fine. Drop your pair off at Curated & Co. EMPORIUM, our sole branch (1st Floor), and one of our Shoe Specialists will take it from there.

Materials & Leather Care

Is the leather genuine, and what’s the difference between calf, horsehide, and suede models?

Every upper we carry is genuine leather. Calfskin gives the smooth, close-grained finish you see on most of our Goodyear-welted models; horsehide and shell cordovan are firmer, denser, and age into a deeper patina; suede trades structure for softness. One correction worth knowing: our shell cordovan is sourced from the Rocado tannery in Italy and Horween Leather Co. from the States.

My leather shoes developed white, chalky patches — is that a defect?

Almost certainly not a defect — that’s leather bloom, a natural migration of oils and waxes to the surface, most common on darker calfskin and suede after storage or humidity exposure. A soft brush and a proper conditioning cream clear it in minutes. Bring it in if it persists after cleaning; a shoe that still looks unwell after a proper brush is the one worth us actually examining.

How do I look after the shoes at home?

Cream, not wax, for everyday conditioning; a horsehair brush before and after wearing; cedar shoe trees the moment they come off your feet, not the moment you remember you own them. We stock the polish and creams in-store, largely because customers kept asking, and partly because a shoe this well made deserves better than neglect.

Pricing & Availability

How much do your shoes cost?

Berwick 1707 opens at ฿7,500 for a Blake-constructed model and runs up through ฿9,600 for a Goodyear-welted lace-up, ฿10,500 for a Chelsea boot, and ฿18,800 for Berwick shell cordovan. At the top of the house, Paraboot’s Chambord in cordovan sits at ฿37,900 — our ceiling, and worth every baht if you’ve ever owned a pair. A formal quotation or invoice is available on request for anyone buying for an office, a gift, or an argument with their accountant.

Is there a current promotion or discount?

Not at the moment. We don’t run promotions on a fixed schedule — when one comes up, we announce it via Instagram (@curatedandcobkk), so that’s the best place to check for anything current.

How do I check if a size or colour is currently in stock?

Message us the model, size, and colour directly — with over 250 styles across five brands, floor stock shifts by the week, and a quick DM beats a guess every time.

Shipping & Ordering

How long does delivery take, and which courier do you use?

All website orders are processed and shipped via Thailand Post. Domestically: 2–5 business days within Bangkok and metropolitan areas, 3–7 business days to other provinces. Internationally, via Thailand Post EMS World to 95 countries (106 destinations): roughly 3–5 business days to Asia, 4–9 to Europe, 5–7 to North America, 9–11 to South America, and 4–6 to Oceania from dispatch, excluding customs clearance time, with a 30 kg per-parcel cap.

Is shipping included in the price, and is tax charged at checkout or on delivery?

Domestically: ฿100 flat rate on orders under ฿5,000, for website purchase, free shipping on orders of ฿5,000 and above, and all domestic prices already include 7% VAT — nothing further is charged on delivery. Internationally: we ship Delivered Duty Unpaid, so customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the price or shipping fee shown at checkout — these are assessed by your destination country’s customs authority and are the recipient’s responsibility.

Can I order through the website and have it delivered, or must I collect in-store?

Both — order through curatedandcobkk.com for delivery, or reserve online and collect at The Emporium if you’d rather see the shoe in daylight before it’s yours.

Store Location & Hours

Where are you located, and do you have more than one branch?

Curated & Co. EMPORIUM, 1st Floor, The Emporium, EM District, Phrom Phong, is our only branch. Our pop-up at One Bangkok has completed its tenure and permanently closed as of March 2026 — we now operate as a single-branch store.

What are your opening hours?

Open every day, 10:00–21:00.

Payment & Reservations

What payment methods do you accept?

Website orders are currently processed through wire transferring option only. If you’re chatting with us on LINE Official or shopping in-store, PromptPay QR and credit card QR payment are also available directly through those channels. We do not currently offer Cash on Delivery.

Can I reserve a pair, and do I need to pay a deposit first?

Yes — you can reserve a pair with no deposit required. If we haven’t heard from you within 4 days, we’ll reach out to check whether you’d still like to go ahead with the purchase.

International Customers

Do you ship internationally, and can I see prices in USD?

Yes — we ship to 95 countries (106 destinations) via Thailand Post EMS World. All prices on the Site are listed in Thai Baht (THB) only; there’s currently no USD price display or conversion shown at checkout.

Is a VAT refund available for tourists?

Not yet — we’re in the process of registering for the Thai tourist VAT refund scheme and will update this answer once it’s available. We’re benchmarking this specifically to better serve our international visitors.
